MISSION STATEMENT:
Since the age of 7 years old, after picking my first lock, I soon realized that I had developed a lifelong passion to become a Locksmith. Not just any Locksmith mind you, I was aiming to be the best Locksmith ever!
It was in my late 20's when I took it to the next level and became the fully registered Locksmith Technician you see today. You will find me as a very friendly and fair businessman ready to help you out of what can potentially be a very stressful situation.
My purpose is to assist people in need with a trusted and immediate emergency response lockout service, anywhere within Aucklands district 7 Days a week.
With 30+ yrs experience and knowledge behind me, a fully equipped mobile workshop and being centrally located in Auckland, I'm able to promptly attend to your emergency requirements.
My aim is and has always been to provide the best quality products and best possible service to the public.

NIGEL'S TOP TIPS AND Money saving TRICKS:

If your key or lock is not working, try lubricating the lock with a silicon based lubricant.

If you have different keys for every lock in your house or business, I can visit and reconfigure them all onto one key. A great way to save you time and problems finding the correct key.

If you are buying a new vehicle, ask to have a spare key with the purchase.

Always have a spare vehicle key, it is very expensive to replace if you lose your only key.

Check your key for wear and tear, a worn key will eventually stop working, or will break off in your lock. To ensure you do not have this inevitable problem, replace the dodgy key immediately.

When your door has drooped or moved and no longer match, or the door wont close properly, no worries, I can come around and re-align the lock for you.

Be aware of cheap and nasty dead bolts which you can buy from “budget” stores, as they are made of a very light metal and are reknown for being poorly constructed. I only provide quality products

Change your key combinations if; when buying or moving into a new home.

I strongly suggest to re-key or change the combinations on all exterior doors if you have misplaced your keys; or if your keys have been stolen.

If you have had your key lost or stolen - There is no need to change the main lock mechanism. A more economical way to change your key is to have, the pinning and key combination inside the lock, reconfigured. You will be issued with a new key, meaning the original key will become defunct and no longer be usable.

I've seen it time and time again... Louvre windows are the easiest way for an opportunist to enter into your property. I recommend that you get rid of them and opt for more secure locking window solution.

It is a given misconception that security window stays do just that! Secure the window to stay in place. But in reality they are an open invitation for an opportunist on the scout. Time and time again I have been called out to 'a window stay being breeched to gain entry' situation. Take an extra minute to properly secure your home if you are leaving the house.

Dont tempt fate! Lock your windows, Lock your house &, if youve got one...Lock your gate!!! (Opportunist dont like it when you make it hard for them).
WARNING: Never leave your house with your windows open, even if you have installed security stays, they were ONLY ever designed to be used as ventilation when you are at home... They are certainly not burglar proof!
